§ 13.204. Duties of Officers

(a)

Chairman. The chairman of the park board shall preside at all meetings, shall appoint standing committee members, and shall perform such other duties as usually pertain to his office or as may be instructed by the board.

(b)

Vice-chairman. It shall be the duty of the vice-chairman to perform the duties of the chairman in his absence.

(c)

Secretary/public relations administrator. The secretary/public relations administrator shall maintain a file of all minutes, keep minutes of each meeting, read last minutes for review and approval, maintain scrapbook of park and leisure services activities, publish an agenda in advance to inform the public of what is to be discussed, publicize and publicly recognize citizens who have made contributions to the park and leisure services movement, and encourage the help of all citizens at the recommendation of the entire park board.
