§ 10.405. Maximum Speed Limits in Certain Zones

It is hereby deemed upon the basis of an engineering survey and/or traffic investigation that the speed permitted by state law and/or city ordinance upon certain streets is greater than is necessary for the safe operation of vehicles thereon during certain times of the day due to the particular hazards existing during those times. It is hereby declared that the prima facie speed limits are altered on those streets set out in the schedule in this section during those hours of the day when signs are erected by public authority giving notice thereof.
