Article XII. SUBMISSION OF PROPOSED CHARTER TO VOTERS

§ 12.02. Filing Official Charter

Latest version.

An official copy of the charter shall be filed with the records of the city, and the mayor shall, as soon as practicable, certify to the secretary of state an authenticated copy under the seal of the city, showing the approval by the qualified voters of such charter.

We, the undersigned members of the charter commission, heretofore duly elected to prepare a charter for the City of Bowie, Texas, do hereby certify that this publication constitutes a true copy of the proposed charter of the City of Bowie, Texas.
