§ 8.811. Reports

The chief of police shall maintain and submit timely monthly reporting statistics to the city manager as to the activities of his department. The content of these reports will be subject to the discretion of the city manager as to the data needed to evaluate the performance of the department, its personnel and the readiness of equipment and personnel to respond to any type of routine or emergency situation. He shall keep the city until proper certification from the state is received. The reserve force is intended to augment and supplement the regular officers and not replace them as the primary police force of the city. All reserves will be subject to the rules and operating procedures of the police department and those of the city.
