§ 7.802. Purpose

This article provides procedural and substantive rules relating to the issuance of citations by nonpeace officers to defendants accused of violating criminal ordinances of the city. The mandates and process established by this article are specifically designed to achieve the effective and efficient administration of the city's code enforcement program through the improved operation of the city's municipal court.
