§ 2.811. Impoundment Fees

(a)

Generally. The fees listed in Appendix A to this chapter for first, second and third impoundments within a twelve-month period shall be collected.

(b)

Daily shelter fee. A daily shelter fee as listed in Appendix C to this Code of Ordinances shall be charged for every day or fraction thereof after the first day of impoundment that an animal is at the animal shelter in addition to the impoundment fee.

(c)

Quarantine fee. The owner of the cat, dog or ferret held in quarantine for observation purposes shall be charged an amount listed in Appendix C to this Code of Ordinances for every day or fraction of a day that an animal is quarantined. This is in addition to any impoundment fee.

(d)

Payment of fees. It shall be a violation of this article to fail to pay all fees due in accordance with this article.
