§ 1.1106. Library Director

The library department shall be under the control and direction of the library director. The library director will report to the city manager as a department head and will coordinate activities with and through the board of trustees of the library. The library director and the city manager are to provide administrative support to the board of trustees in a reasonable and timely manner. The library director will perform additional duties as required and be responsible for the proper and timely submission of reports required by the city manager to effectively evaluate the performance and capability of library personnel and activities.
