§ 13.501. Admission Fees

The following fees for Pelham Park will be charged daily for Sunday through Saturday of each week and will apply on all holidays falling within that time period. There is an honor box with envelopes for travelers to pay for overnight stay and dumping:

The cost for all overnight camp locations in the park and on Second Monday grounds is fifteen dollars ($15.00) per day. Envelopes will have information on them and ask travelers to put their name and location of where they are from. Our parks supervisor will pick up the money from the honor box as needed. No advance reservation, first come first serve. We can reserve the Second Monday grounds for big group and overflow for big events.

Pavilion use shall be the current method of reserving the pavilions at the city office. The cost will be ten dollars ($10.00) per day and the pavilion will need to be reserved forty-eight (48) hours in advance. If the pavilion is not reserved it is a first come first serve. The user will have a receipt to show they have the facility reserved. This is for Amon Carter, Amphitheater, Pool, and Second Monday pavilions. Commercial use for the pavilion will be assessed a higher fee of one hundred dollars ($100.00) per day.

Reserve basketball, soccer or sand lot volleyball courts at the city office forty-eight (48) hours in advance with the fee for civic and private uses of ten ($10.00) per day and five dollars ($5.00) for half a day 8:00 a.m.—2:00 p.m. or 2:00 p.m.—midnight. A posting board will be installed at the locations of the facility. A receipt will be issued. All other times first come first serve, no fee charged.

Reservation of Bowie Rodeo Grounds: All money collected and reservations made for the use of the Bowie Rodeo Arena Grounds will be at the city office. The user will be provided a receipt to show they have the facility reserved.

Bowie Rodeo Arena Grounds fees are as follows:

Youth Event	$50.00 per day plus lighting cost of $10.00 an hour if used at night
Civic Event	$100.00 per day plus lighting cost of $10.00 an hour if used at night
Commercial Event	$150.00 per day plus lighting cost of $10.00 an hour if used at night

 

No livestock shall be left at the arena for more than a 24-hour period after the event is concluded.
